Every night in the savanna, a dung beetle picks up what everyone else has stepped over and rolls it toward a destination using the stars as its compass.

Scientists long assumed it simply followed the moon until they discovered that on the darkest nights, with no moonlight, it orients itself by the Milky Way. It is the only insect on Earth known to navigate this way.

We named our firm after that instinct. An Autodidact does not wait to be taught what matters, they go and find out for themselves.

That's what we look for in founders, and how we choose to invest. By starting where the world has not yet paid attention, and following the evidence, not the consensus, to where value is actually being built.
